Job Title: Semi-truck Driver – Petroleum Fuel Transport

Meffert Oil Company, Inc. was founded by Joe Meffert in 1965. He began delivering petroleum products to customers in the surrounding agricultural community. From the very beginning, customers were valued; their wants and needs were the basis on which the business was built. Word spread, and business began to grow. While our business has grown to include other ventures, our primary focus continues to be the provider of high quality fuels to customers of different sizes and types.

Summary: Reporting to the Driver Dispatcher, the Semi-truck Driver – Petroleum Fuel Transport, is responsible for safe and timely loading, transport, and delivery of petroleum products to scheduled customers throughout the southern half of Wisconsin. MOC Trucking operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and drivers should expect schedules to meet operating demands. Pay based on mileage, pick-ups and deliveries. A quarterly safety bonus is also offered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections on semi and trailer at the beginning and end of each shift worked.
  • Thoroughly and securely hook up and unhook trailers as required.
  • Load and unload petroleum fuel in accordance with customer order strictly adhering to all safety measures and regulations.
  • Deliver fuel orders by driving semi to and from customer locations adhering to all state and federal transportation and traffic laws and regulations.
  • Preparing all necessary paperwork to complete fuel deliveries.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and notify supervisor of any potential hazards or needed repairs.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or three to six months’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Candidates must either have or be able to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver’s License Class A with Class N and H (Haz Mat) Endorsements in the State of Wisconsin in accordance with all State and Federal Department of Transportation guidelines and regulations

Position Title: Car Wash Attendant

Reports To: Store Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Employment Status: Full- or Part-Time

Location: Division Street Mobil

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Car Wash Attendant is the primary ambassador of Meffert Oil’s new state-of-the art conveyor belt system car wash in Waunakee; the main person who draws attention to and increases sales through education, excitement, and excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Assist and educate customers in the features and use of the car wash.
  • Empty vacuums daily.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell car wash volume packages, car maintenance accessories.
  • Refill soaps and chemicals as needed.
  • Power-wash inside walls and floors daily.
  • Squeegee floor water and residue to center drain daily.
  • Clean inside windows daily, outside windows weekly.
  • Clean vacuum canopies bi-weekly, weather permitting.
  • Pick-up grounds debris on on-going basis.
  • Empty trash bins daily or more often, if needed.
  • Report any safety or maintenance issues that need to be addressed.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Title: Sales Associate

Department: Convenience Stores

Reports To: Store Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary: Reporting to the Store Manager, the cashier is responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and accurate service to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Wait on customers and complete transactions courteously, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Greet and thank each and every customer for his/her business.
  • Ensure cleanliness of entire premises, including outside, inside, restrooms, and car wash.
  • This will include, but is not limited to, cleaning countertops, floors, windows/doors, product and shelving, and emptying trash.
  • Stock and face cooler, tobacco, automotive, grocery, and personal items.
  • Ensure beverage area is stocked and clean at all times.
  • Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Count and report personal inventory of USPS stamps, gift certificates, lottery tickets, and safe drops.
  • Ensure task list is completed for each shift worked.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
